SEMA model legislation (H.B. 3458/H.B. 3567) that would create a vehicle registration classification for street rods and custom vehicles and provide for special license plates for these vehicles will be considered by the Massachusetts Joint Transportation Committee on Thursday, October 11th. -
Massachusetts Bill to Ban the Sale/Installation of Aftermarket Exhaust Systems to be Considered by Joint Transportation Committee on Oct. 2
A bill (H.B. 3574) to ban the sale or installation of “an exhaust system which has been modified in a manner which will amplify or increase the noise emitted by the exhaust” was reintroduced by Rep. Liz Malia and several cosponsors (list below) and will be considered by the Massachusetts Joint Transportation Committee on October 2nd. -
Pro-Hobbyist Inoperable Vehicle Bill Introduced in Michigan
A version of SEMA model legislation (S.B. 700) has been introduced in the Michigan State Legislature that would outlaw local zoning ordinances that prohibit the hobby of collecting and restoring motor vehicles.
